Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
wrong use of credit card
I gave an employee a credit card to pay work related items... The person used it to buy personal items (computers and such) and transfered all their own debt onto my card... I was told by a cop it was 'too damned bad'.... I couldn't even get help trying to obtain what was bought.... I'm still paying....... Any thoughts? Is there ANY hope of even reducing this debt? Recovery? How? Where? To whom does one complain? Anything at all? Is there No remedy of any kind?
Please ANY words would be honestly appreciated.

Re: wrong use of credit card
If you wish to explore the possibility of this employee being charged with a crime, discuss with local police (try fraud/white collar crime division, if any), and-or the local criminal prosecutor's office. The part of your question relating to potential civil law remedies is off-topic for this category. Perhaps you can post those questions to the civil litigation board.
