Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota
Wrongfully Accused.
lets get to it.... was at a party.... fight broke out... grabed my buddy said lets just stay out of it.... guy got hurt pretty bad.... so i took him and helped him leave and got the rest of his buddys out of there.... now some girl that was there said she seen me choking the guy.... i dont know them.... but i had nothing to do with it... besides helping him out... now im being charged with 3rd degree assault.... i have several people that can testify i didnt do anything including the other people that are getting charged..... whats the fastest way to end all this since i had nothing to do with his injurys and would like this all to go away as soon as possible.... thanks....

There is no quick way to dispense with such cases. It generally takes a strong defense and a challenge to the probable cause for the charge. this would occur at the Omnibus hearing (your send or third appearance) .

The only thing that can be done quickly is lose. Winning takes time and effort. The best thing you can do is retain a good lawyer as soon as possible.
