18 year old daughter was sold a driver's license from a 22 year old
A 22 year old sold my 18 year old daughter her license for $175. My 18 year
old has been using it to go to the bars-they resemble each other quite a bit,
so she gets by with it. She was driving another friend's car last night (and
only has her permit) I took the I.D. and am intervening. What are the legal
consequences for: A) having someone else's I.D., B) selling your license to a
minor, and C) driving without your own license including driving drunk.
A lot of questions, I know. I want to educate my 18 year old completely on all
the legal implications of what she's doing. Thank you for your response.
Sincerely,
A concerned mother

Minnesota Statutes Section 340A.503, subd 5 makes it "unlawful for a person under 21 to claim to be 21 years old for the purpose of purchasing alcoholic beverages."
Other, related legal consequences related to underage drinking:
If driver gets a DWI or "implied consent" violation before 21, then a minimum 6 months drivers license revocation (v. typical 90 days for adult first-time), per implied consent law. A juvenile adjudication for criminal DWI, is an "offense," triggers future charge and sentence enhancements. Persons under 21 violate Minn Stat 169A.33 if driving or operating a motor vehicle if "physical evidence of the consumption" of any alcohol "present in the person's body." Persons under 21 are prohibited from consuming alcoholic beverages except when in parent-guardian's home, with their consent. Minor Consumption, Minn Stat 340A.503, subd 1(a)(2). Drivers license revocation for underage drinking conviction, Minn Stat 171.173. Drivers license suspension for illegal purchase of alcohol or tobacco conviction, Minn Stat 171.171.
There is more. Perhaps this will get you started, though.

That's a heap of trouble. More legal problems there than I would ever address for free. I won't talk about it for free; I won't even think about it for free. If it's that bad, imagine how much it would cost if one of them got arrested.
