Legal Question in DUI Law in Minnesota

Driver's License Reinstatement

My DL was revoked pursuant to a DUI (BAC of .12) with accident resulting in substantial bodily harm (felony level). DPS revoked license for 3 years, even though conviction will appear as misdemeanor after completion of probation requirements (probably 1 year). Any chance of getting DL reinstated before 3 year period expires? They will give me a provisional license after 1 year of revocation.

Re: Driver's License Reinstatement

The license revocation and criminal case are two entirely separate matters. The result in the criminal case has no impact on the license revocation. In order to challenge the licensee revocation, you must file a Petitoin for judicial review within thirty days of receiving your revocation notice. That information was included on the back of your revocation notice.
