Drunk Driving

If a minor is sentenced to jail time for DWI, can he/she leave the country on a school sponsored trip?

Obviously, a person locked up in jail won't be able to leave. When on pre-trial release or on probation, the court may make "not leaving the state" a condition of probation. If so, ask the probation officer and-or judge for permission to leave and return.
