Legal Question in DUI Law in Minnesota

DUI/Careless Driving

I was arrested for DUI, charges were reduced to wet/careless driving? Can I enter Canada without having to do all the required paper work? Our do they look at this as a DUI?

Re: DUI/Careless Driving

I have never heard of wet careless driving. The charge should either be careless or dwi.

Assuming that you just have a careless and not something else on your record, I would expect that you are good to go to Canada. To know for sure, you should consult a Canadian lawyer. One such law office which has exchanged links with my web site is at http://www.hulkaporterimmigration.com. Maybe you could email them and ask.

You might be well advised, however, to first check and see exactly what that is on your record. "Wet/Careless"? Never heard of it.
