My husband is currenty serving time for violation of his DUI conditional release in Minnesota. On July 1, 2011 (244.055) will sunset. It pertains to conditional release of inmates for controlled substances. We would like to know if it is going to include my husband. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The section of the code cited is for possession offenses only as specified in Subd. 2 (1) . AS a result, it does not apply to DWI offenses under Minnesota STatutes Sec. 169A.
