My boyfriend and I are no longer together. I am 5 months pregnant. Am I required by law to advise him of upcoming doctor/prenatal appointments?

Hello. Congratulations on your pregnancy.

There is no Minnesota statute requiring a female to inform a former boyfriend of her upcoming medical appointments. I do certainly recommend that you privately confer with an attorney just as soon as possible about your situation, because oftentimes the attorney help will be quite important to you. I suggest you telephone several attorneys in choosing one attorney to help you, because you should feel a sense of great trust in the attorney you select.

Again, all the best to you and congratulations on the upcoming birth.
