I am asking for my Brother. He is a over the road trucker. Lives in Minnesota Wife left him she moved back to Ohio. He wants me to ask. What are the rules for contesting a Divorce?

Your question is far too broad to easily answer. To commence a divorce, one party serves on the other party and files with the court a Summons and Petition for divorce. The recipient party has 30 days to serve and file an Answer to the Petition to contest the requests made by the Petition. One that occurs, dpepending on ytour county, hearings may be scheduled and, of the aprties are unable to resoolve the contested issues, a trial is scheduled.
