Name change
When you get married can you legally change your first name when you change your last name. (From Jill to Jillian)?

You can change your name by using a new one consistently, of course, but to maintain the same social security #, DL#,change your birth certificate, etc, you must petition the court to officially order the change made. . .then send that order to the appropriate agencies.
