child custody

the ex and I have been divorced 3and a 1/2 yrs. I the mom have custody full physical joint legal. He's finally done with back support and has held his job however I have not does this make a difference if he wanted custody if he was to get married? my first child is not with him second one only. next ? is 1st kids biolog. dad has no contact since she was3 wks old and he rarely pays the 150.00 ordered 8 yrs ago. So if I filed a motion to adjust support what happens if he shows and asks for visits? asof now he has 0 rights . now if i asked for a motion with support from my ex what happens since i havn't been employed?

First, it is very difficult to change custody. It requires as showing of endangerment physically, emotionally or developmentally. If your economic situation has not created endangerment, it is not a basis to ahcange custody.

Second, a parent may always seek parenting time. Such decisions are made based on a best interests of the child standard. Depending on the past contact and the child's age will determine what parenting is appropriate.
