Child support and adoption

My ex-wife and would like her new husband to be able to adopt my daughter. He seems like a nice man and I as the father said yes to the adoption. The say they will handle all the paperwork. Do I need to watch out for anything, and will child support stop automaticly after that is final? I would not be willing to go through with it if I was still help for paying child support after the adoption. Thank you

I believe that we just spoke on the phone.

Child support will cease when the adoption and termination or Larental Rights is final. It will not erase arrears.
