Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Please Help.. We have a very confusing case:( The non parent) (male)

fought for the right to see the child due to having a previous bond with the child. The actually father is going along with this(due to his lawyer) and agrees to split parenting time between them and myself. Now we are afraid one is going to file for full custody, once this is emotion has been filed, how long does this process take? Im asking because I CAN NOT afford a lawyer and no one will help me :( and if this emotion is filed, i want to know how long I will have to get a lawyer? right now im the custodial parent, and share parenting time with the non father and the father.. PLEASE HELP.

A family law motion is typically filed and served 14 days before the scheduled hearing. The deadline for you to file and serve your own affirmative motion (asking for new relief) is 10 days before the scheduled hearing and the deadline to serve and file your response to their original motion is 5 days before the scheduled hearing.

I advise that you seek legal counsel.
