Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Custody

I am traveling out of town for business and I have primary custody of my children. There is a custody order in place. Is he allowed to take them outside of the custody agreement when I am away?

Re: Custody

If there is a right of first refusal in your court order, he would have the option of caring for your children while you are away. If there is no court ordered right of first refusal, there is no right to care for the children in the other parent's absence. If taken to court, such an order would be likely.
