Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota
I have been dealing with child support for many years now. Paying my support has become absolutely impossible as it leaves me no money to live. I have tried modifications and the results are always the same, either stays the same or increases. After this last time about 2 years ago I have given up fighting the system, now I face jail. Someone with actual advice, not you should have behaved crap(it takes two), give me some ideas.

Child support is based on child suport guidelines. To effectively seek a modification, you must present evidence and argue your case based on those guidelines. Simply appearing and arguing that the amount is too much is a weak presentation and rarely results in any modification.
