default??

stbx has until June 20th to respond to divorce papers.What happens if she defaults or doesn`t respond?In the court papers,i`m asking that she returns all of my property she stoled from me or pay me aprox $10-11000.00 compensation.I have Police report also stating that fact she disappeared my property.If she doesn`t respond,what`s the next step??Will i have to sue her to get property or money from her??

If an answer is not fuiled, you would be required to file a default scheduling request. At that hearing, a court may dissolve your marriage by default and enter an order with relief that it deems fair and equitable. That does not necessarily mean you will get everything that you request in your petition. A court must determine that the relief requesetd is warranted.
