my ex-husbands creditors are calling me. i divorced him in 1991 and have not seen or heard from him since then. they call my home phone and my work phone. how do i get my name off of his records. a private detectibe that called my said i am listed as family.

I am afraid that if you are listed as a debtor for the debt obligation, the creditor could still seek collection of that debt against you. If you were never listed as a debtor on the obligation, you should seek documentation of any contracts that the card company believes created the obligation.
