Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

In my divorce it is written that I have to pay my former husband his part of the equity of the house if I re-marry, the youngest graduates from high school. I don't think that's fair since he didn't have to share his inheritence. He's been able to remarry and has bought and sold two houses. If I have to pay this 'marital lien' it might turn my mortgage upside down and I'd rather not sell it, I love my house. How can I get out of this?

I am afraid that property settlements are final. It cannot be changed unless there is an agreement to modify the terms.

Inheritance is a non-marital asset and, as such, it is not divided in divorce.
