Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota
I have been divorced for 3 years and have 2 minor children. I share legal/physical custody with their father. He and his girlfriend have been making medical decisions for the children, including things I have said absolutely no to, without my consent. His girlfriend is consistently stepping into our parenting and he has stopped conferring with me on the kids. I also have recieved no child support increases - though it was based on him being unemployed and he hid a full-time job for me for over a year. It is getting more and more difficult to co-parent and it is taking its toll on my children. Do I have any recourse in this?

You should confer with your attorney so she/he can assist you and advise you in great detail. The issues you describe are complex. Full details need to be known. But one consideration is the age of the children as legal counsel regarding a pair of 17 y old twins about to graduate from high school would likely be quite different from the advice given as to 3 y olds. The medical decision issue sounds as tho' it may be serious in nature. As to child support issues in particular, you should seek legal counsel with no delay because (generally) action is required for a change (i.e., 'modification').
