Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota
Extension of Chil Support
My son was 18 on 2-1-09, per court orders child support was to be done on the day her was 18. The payments are still coming out of my paycheck so I called the county and they proceeded to tell me that his mother filed a extension of child support due to the fact that our son may not graduate from high school, which is not true. He is a B student and has applied to college and has been accepted. How can the county put this in order with no proof from the school and how can they continue to take child support. What do I do?

Re: Extension of Chil Support
You must file a Motion to terminate child support and provide evidence that the child is not pursuing a high school diploma or a GED equivalency through classes.
