Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

my friend is going through a divorce and is in need of a attorney. since she is a single mom I was wondering if there was any programs out there that would help. most of the attorneys she spoken with wants at least 1500.00 and up depending on the complications of the case. and comments or reply is greatly appreciated.
