Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota
GPS Tracking Minnesota
What are the laws for GPS tracking a vehicle? I want to catch my cheating husband. Can I attach it to personal vehicle? What about his work car (his workplace owns this vehicle)?

Re: GPS Tracking Minnesota
First of all, Minnesota is a no fault divorce state. This means that infidelity has no impact on a divorce or a legal separation. In my experience, if a person is able to articulate that their spouse may be cheating, chances are, that they are.
Second, there is certainly no law against placing a GPS device on a family owned vehicle. Placing a GPS device on a vehicle owned by another is not clearly addressed in the law, but could potentially result in charges for stalking, damage to property or other potentially related charges.
