Re: grand parent visitation

The statute is very specific regarding grandparent visitation rights. It would be wise for you to have an attorney if there are reasons for why you do not want her to have visits with your child. Please contact me if you would like to discuss this matter further. We offer a free initial consulation.

Re: grand parent visitation

A grandparent's right to have visitation with a child over the objection of a parent is limited by statute to certain facts and circumstances. Whether you need an attorney will depend on the specifics of your case. Given that the other party has an attorney, it is more likely that you will need or want to have an attorney. At minimum, you would be well-served to run your case by an attorney to decide what your best options are. Please feel free to email me at [email protected] to discuss this further.
