grand parent visitation
My daughters grandma is tryin to see my daughter after 2 years of harrassing me and threatenig to kidnap her. I have a restrainig order on her that I have to go to court for. She has a lawyer and I can't afford one. What kinds of things are courts gonna be looking for to keep this crazy women out of me and my childs life? Do you think I need a lawyer or woul I be alright on my own?

The statute is very specific regarding grandparent visitation rights. It would be wise for you to have an attorney if there are reasons for why you do not want her to have visits with your child. A grandparent's right to have visitation with a child over the objection of a parent is limited by statute to certain facts and circumstances. Whether you need an attorney will depend on the specifics of your case. Given that the other party has an attorney, it is more likely that you will need or want to have an attorney.
