Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota
Harassment Order
Hi,
I am looking to get a harassment order against my ex's new girlfriend and possibly him for myself and my child. There was never abuse, but tons of phone calls, voice mails, text messages, emails and even some graffiti on my front door. This has been going on for over a year and I have asked for it to stop but she keeps continuing. Is this possible given there has been no physical abuse or threats? It is really upsetting and from time to time the voice mails are very descriptive. The calls used to range from 30 to 50 per day and are now mainly 2 to 3 a week including text messages. I have had to change my number 3 times now and plan on doing so again. The thing is, my ex is also my sons father.

Re: Harassment Order
Yes. You have described exactly what a harrassment restraining order is for. Go to your locak district court and file.
Dennis.
