Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota
Even it I have hired an attorney, can I still hire another attorney to ask his/her opinion about the MTA prior to signing it? I mean another set of eyes are better than one aren't they?

Absolutely, there is no prohibition against getting a second opinion. In addition, if only one spouse is represented or these is a joint petition it is highly recommended. The second attorney's fee should be fairly minimal.
