Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

My husband and I have been married for a year and a half. He had a house in another town worth $82,000. My dad worked on the place for 5 months and increased the value to $125,000 which is what we sold it for. I had owned my house for 5 years and he and his kids came here. Now he is divorcing me. Is he entitled to half my house?

It would appear based on your post that you would have a nonmarital interest inthe home. Though there may be some marital equity to be divided, it is likely that a majority of the equity is yours alone.
