Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

My ex husband gets my son for a few weeks a year for spring/winter break - things like that. In our divorce decree it states that I am to reimberse him daycare expenses incurred while my son is at his house up to the amount I normally would pay. Does he have to provide me a copy of the expenses or do I have to just give him the amount I would normally pay? The reason I am asking is because he I know he took the days off work to be with his son but states that his girlfriend is watching our son and I need to pay him to give the money to her. What options do I have so I don't have to pay him directly?
