Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Can she legally keep the kids from us

My brother and his Girlfriend are both currently incarcerated. They have 2 children together who are staying with her Mother.

The Girlfriend has refused to let my Mother or I see the children.

Can she do this???

Is there anything legally we can do so we have some sort of visitation with the kids???

There is a statute in Minnesota which allows grandparents to have visitation rights. Your mother would have to petition the family court in the county where the children live to set it up. She needs a lawyer for that. My number is 952-544-6356. Good luck.
