Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

I had to live with my exhusband because of personal issues. We have 2 kids together and we have 50/50 custody. He works and i stayed at the house and took care of kids etc, he has been telling me to leave for months because i wouldnt get back into a relationship with him, so finally i did. My kids knew where i was going and why because i talked to them. Now he will not let me see or have my kids because i left like he told me to many times. He says he has every right because he supported them money wise and i only took care of them personal wise. I cant afford a lawyer and he has his parents who have alot of money and also take care of them for him. What can i do

There is no simple solution. Unfortunately, the only remedy you have is to file an action for custody, divorce, or legal separation and, as part of that process, schedule a hearing for Temporary Relief to address the parenting schedule.

This is not a simple procedure. You may qualify for legal aid in your area. Check for non-profit legal aid services in your county.
