I live in Minnesota and I am paying child support which is fine but I dont believe I'm getting a fair deal. if i were to come to an agreement out side of the courts would i need a special document for her to sign? would i need a 3rd party person present? and if i need a certain document where would i find it at?

Child suport can only be modified by an order of the court. Extrajudicial agreements, signed or notarized, are not binding or enforceable. Moreover, if public assistance is expended in any form, the county must also agree to any stipulated modification. If the parties wish to deviate from child support guidelines, a court may not do soo, unless specialized language is included in the stipulation and order as required by law.
