How long can o be sent to jail for not paying child support? I'm 15000+/- in arrears and have no income

First of all, a Motion for contempt can be field and a jail sentence can be imposed if it is likely to compel compliance. there is no limitation on the duration of that jail time. However, a defense to a Motion for contempt for non-payment of child support is an inability to pay. Of course, if you are unable to pay, you should be filling a Motion to modify.
