Both of you probably have equal right to name your child. Since you do not have, however, a legal right to be present at the birth or visit them, the hospital will accept the name chosen by your wife. The hospital is not going to get involved in a dispute between you and your wife regarding your child's name. Once the child is born, you could petition the court for a name change. This would be a waste of time because without your wife's consent the chances of the court changing your son's name are slim to none. And slim would probably leave town. Your best bet is to be nice, and try to get her to change her mind, and then be nice again. Sorry.
