Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota
My ex is moving from minnesota to florida and our child will be moving in with me in illinois, we have agreed on this and want my child support payments to stop, have read that we need to file a stipulation and order to stop child support with the courts, but minnesota has no standard form to fill out, do we have to hire an attorney to do this, or is there a way we can save money and do it ourselfs?

If you want this done correctly, I suggest that you hire an attorney. It will be worth the money.
There are no forms for such a process. Additionally, in order for a stipulation to be to accepted by a court, it must meet with statutory criteria which require that he Stipulation and Order reflect child support guidelines and, if there is a deviation from guidelines, the basis to do so.
