Are there any other options besides emancipation for me? And if not do you think I coud be emancipated? I'm 16 and my friends mom Is will to take me in to her home and take care of my. My mom is a single parent and has a friend living with us because she is homeless. But my mom is always at the casino, verbally abuses me, and has hit me before. I feel like I am always ganged up on by my mom and her friend. I honestly hate being at home.}

Emancipation means self supporting. I suggest you phone Crisis Connection 24-7: You may phone repeatedly. Seek out school counselors trusted school teachers, the principal for private talks.
