Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota
Paternity Fraud/testing
Me and my husband have found out from several community memebers that his ex-wife had many affairs and told many people that one of his children probably isn't his and that another isn't for sure. She told this during her pregnancies and after their births. When they divrced (13 years ago), she pursued a large amount of child support and has done nothing but ask for even more money above an beyond the child support. We my husband doesn't give it to her she trashs him to the children and and even to the point his own parents haven't spoke to him in two years. She lives in a 429,000 house and we live in a 130,000 one. My husband has never missed a child support payment and has paid for other things along the way. We can't take her constant harrassment for money anymore. Now, that we suspect paternity fraud what can we do? Can he demand paternity testing? He wants to know the truth about this.

Re: Paternity Fraud/testing
If the divorce was more than 2 years ago, it is unlikely that paternity could be disclaimed at this point.
As far as the support is concerned, he must only pay what the court order instructs him to pay.
