Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Petition for Third Party Custody Change

I am looking for some paperwork related to the petition in 257C. We are an aunt and uncle who have had out 3 y/o neice and almost 2 y/o nephew living with us since Oct 2006. Their mom left them with the daycare lady and didn't come home, the dad is in jail. They have lost custody 2x's before due to drugs. We want to adopt, but are looking to at least get custody for now. Call 763-856-5906 with any other questions

Re: Petition for Third Party Custody Change

There are no specific third party custody forms available through the Minnesota Supreme Court website. You may want to have an attorney draw up the paperwork for you for a fee.
