Police come to house based on an ex-wife's complaint

The police officer came to the house stating that my son's mother (my ex) stated I (father) was preventing my son from seeing her. Without my knowledge, the police officer video taped both my son's and my conversation. Is this legal?

Yes. Minnesota is a one party state. Any person may record a conversation that they are a party to.
