Probation Hearing

What is the recourse if one has been picked up in a traffic check and advised there is a warrant out for their arrest, they have no knowledge of that, and are informed that the notice was sent out in April 2008 to an old address where they did not reside since 12/2007. The person is now in the County Jail and has been advised there is no bail because of the President's holiday tomorrow. What should we do of what can we do for this person?

There is alaways an on call Judge who can set a bail even on a holiday. Under the facts presented, however, that may be unlikely.
