Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

I am in the process of getting divorced, and I would like to know if I would be responsible for my ex-wife's student loans if she defaults. Would a lender require me to repay any student loans incurred during our marriage if she deafulted?

Thank you,

Darren

If you did not sign on the loan documents, you would not be responsible to the lender. the divorce court, however, can apportioin responsibility for any debt.
