Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

My question is in regards to child support. My ex-husband and I have joint legal and physical custody of our daughter. The divorce decree reads that child support is "reserved". We both pay 1/2 of her expenses. Our yearly salaries are about the same. I have parenting time 18 days a month and my ex has 10 days per month. Would it be a timely and costly battle to go back to court for child support?

The question is whether there has been a substantial change in circummstance since the last order was entered. Has the parenting schedule changed? Has income changed? If not, there is no basis to modify the support figure. Whether there has been a substantial change in circumstance depends greatly on the particular facts of your case.
