Release from Child Support Obiligation

Is it not possible to be released from a child support obligation without moving the court to alter the divorce decree? I remember hearing something about a document called ''Release from Child Support Obligation.''

You do not indicate in your question what the basis is for terminating child support. That notwithstanding, a court order for child support may only be modified by another Court order. Parties to ana cation cannot agree on a child support figure and such agree,ments are not enforceable or binding.
