Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Is my ex required by law to sign an escrow refund check written to both of us and I have now refinanced the home into my name solely. I have been paying the mortgage myself for over 5 years and opened the escrow account after the divorce. Prior to the divorce the taxes and insurance were paid by us.
