Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota
I think I am being scammed or frauded
My fiance has a son who is going to be 8 soon. The childs mother gets cars that are $10,000 or more almost every year to every other year, she moves to a new residence every few months and supposedly has housing assistance, she had a man living with her but did not report it to the authorities nor child suppoorts attention, she only works maybe a few months a year and recieves county assistance, child support and yet says she can't afford daycare, and can't afford medical for the children and so on. The childs mother even made comments recently that Les is not the childs father, and alsoo have a recording that she only wants her money and not worried about the child. She will take off with the child on our weekends and not say anything, we made police reports and they don't do much about it. does it sound like fraud?

It does not sound like fruad on your fiance. None of the things that you mention would affect his child support unless he sought a paternity test and was determined not to be the child's parent.
It may be fraud on the government with regard to benefits. However, there is nothing you can do about thtat.

Sounds suspicious. I guess it wouldn't hurt to report it to law enforcement.
