Separate Maintenace Payment
I haven't made a profit in 2 years. What's the odds I can have my separate support payments reduced without opening it up to a longer term?

The answer to your question is not a simple one and would require a review of the existing court order, all the facts and circumstances surrounding the court ordered payment and the change in circumstance that has occurred since that time including the reasons why it has occurred.
Regardless, if your spousal maintenance obligation can be modified and there was no waiver of that modification, any motion to reeview it could certainly mean the other party files there own motion for an increase or an extension.
