Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota
I currently separated from my wife due to text messages, frequency and time to a coworker, I can clear my name if I can get the content of the messages. Verizon stated it can only be done with a court order. We are not in the divorce process but that is what is to come if I cant get the content. Is there any way of getting the content of such messages? Thanks

There is no way to acquire a court order without having some action pending such as a divorce, legal separation, custody case.
As you apparently were told, an order of the court is such a way. I urge you to confer privately with an attorney at this time. In family law, this is known as pre-divorce planning even if you decide never to do so. You may secure an attorney to assist you in an ongoing manner for an indefinite time duration.
