Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

signed custody papers

I have a friend who's son is divorcing without an attorney, they are just using the attorney that she hired. He signed the legal papers from her and foolishly agreed to giving her sole custody. She has not gone to her court date to finalize the documents and finish the divorce. Does he have any possible way of making that document void???? He most definately needs to have joint custody. What can he do about it now???

He should contact a lawyer immediately and have a letter sent to the court revoking the agreement.
