Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

My son will be 18 on June 10th ,2013.

He will not graduate High School and does not intend to continue.

My divorce decree states : Child support obligation will

Terminate when the child attains the age of eighteen ( or age twenty

If still attending high school).

How or what do I need to prove that my son has no intention of graduating or

Attending high school any more ?

I am afraid there is no clear answer to that question. So long as the child is pursuing a high school education, including studying for a GED, child support wil continue. If he is out of school, you would file a Motion and see what, if anything, the other parent has to offer regarding continuation.
