Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Can someone in the state of Minnesota keep appealling an outcome of a decision over and over because they don't like the outcome? This is costing us huge dollars for this woman to keep appealling a divorce in Washington County Minnesota by Judge Thomas Armstrong. Isn't there a law about career court cases???

A person certainly may file a Motion seeking Amended Findings or a new trial after a court enters a divorce decree. If the person does not receive satisfaction after such a motion, they may appeal to the Minnesota Courts of Appeals. If denied there, they may seek cert from the Minnesota Supreme Court, which in most cases is extremely unlikely.

There are no appeals beyond those remedies.
