Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Stopping grandparents from visiting

How do you stop your mother-in-law from visiting your child. It was also out of wedlock and when she's trying to bring you to court to get vistation rights?

Re: Stopping grandparents from visiting

You can defend yourself in court against a grandparent visitation request if you can prove that such visits would not be in the best interests of the child and/or that the visits would interfere with your parent/child relationship.
