Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

tax deduction

My wife has primary physical custody of our two minor children. We both have legal custody. Our divorce is not final as of yet, she is telling me I cannot claim one child on my taxes and she the other as she has physical custody she gets to claim both. what are my options on this.

You would have to file a Motion to the Court for a temporary order allowing you to claim a child.
